The General Directorate of Financial Services aims at the unified financial management and control of the financial affairs and operations of the Ministry of Shipping and Insular Policy and its supervised Organizations and in particular the planning, coordination, management and supervision of all matters of the financial operation of the Ministry including the financial monitoring of the supervised General Government Bodies, in accordance with the principles and rules of sound financial management and accountability.
