The Seafarers’ Labour Directorate ensures the determination of maritime specialties, ship crew levels, hierarchy and duties of ship's personnel, the disciplinary control of seafarers, the issuance of maritime service certificates and the maintenance of Maritime Registers through the following Departments:
a) Ships΄ Manning Unit
b) Labour Relations Unit
c) Seafarers΄ Disciplinary Control Unit
d) Sea Service Recognition Unit
